In line with its objectives to enhance regional cooperation in aviation training, EATEO has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the “African Association of Aviation Training Organisations- AATO”.

The MOC provides extensive cooperation between the two Organisations as well as between their respective Members. After signing the MOC on behalf of EATEO the Interim Chairman Raymond Benjamin stated that, “given the importance of training and the nature of aviation as a regional and interregional activity, cooperation between regions is indispensable. The signing of this MOC is a clear manifestation that EATEO can contribute effectively in achieving such cooperation.”

From his part, Mr. Shawky El Azab, stated on behalf of AATO that the African countries are in need of considerable training in all aspects of aviation. As such, this MOC will facilitate the adoption of European best practices.”
