EATEO SYMPOSIUM FOR THE FUTURE CHALLENGES IN AVIATION TRAINING

The "European Association of  Aviation Training and Education Organizations - EATEO", organized a Symposium on the importance of education and training in all sectors of the aviation industry at the EUROCONTROL premises in Brussels, on 9/11/2018.

Participants to the Symposium, which was supported by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), were representatives from all relevant International and European Organizations, as well as other Organizations from Europe, USA, Asia and Africa.

The main conclusion of the Symposium was the need for coordination by all actors in the aviation industry and cooperation between countries at regional and international level, in order to meet future training needs.

It was stressed by all participants that EATECO has an important role to play in tackling the challenges of aviation training.

At the General Assembly of the EATEO members, which followed the Symposium, concrete practical steps were decided on the role of EATECO in these efforts.
