Welcome

Dear Colleague,

Welcome to the “ European Association of Aviation Training and Education Organizations –EATEO”.

EATEO aspires to be the European voice for driving the best aviation training and education practices and to provide a common forum for its Members, enabling them to contribute to aviation safety and other fields of civil aviation , to defend their common interests in European as well as international fora and to support them in their efforts as regards promotion of their training activities and the securing of new business.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The global aviation community has increasingly placed emphasis on learner-centered training that is outcomes-based and provides aviation professionals with the competencies to be effective, efficient and safe in performing their duties. ICAO also emphasizes the importance of incorporating learning activities using a competency-based training Instructional Systems Design (ISD) approach, to support the effective implementation of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs).

The European Association of Aviation Training and Education Organization (EATEO), through its “Working Group on Best Practices in Aviation Training”, is conducting a survey on Competency-based Training and Assessment (CBTA). This 5 minutes survey would help us to better understand your Organisation’s understanding and application of CBTA, so that EATEO can calibrate resources on CBTA for the aviation training community.

We seek your assistance to complete this by 10th March 2021. You may contact EATEO WG Secretariat, Adrian Cioranu, at acioranu@aimsolutions.ch if you have further questions. Please feel free to also share this survey link with your training partners.

We are happy to share the survey results with you. Please provide your email in the survey, if you like to be updated with the survey results. Thank you in advance for your valuable participation.
